Two men working at the office of Senator Antonio Trillanes has been arrested the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) on Thursday at few minutes to 19:00hrs.

Edgar Ramirez and Glenn Silverio initially refused to mention their places of work and claimed to be unemployed. According to officials at the NAIA, further checks in their luggage revealed that they are employees of Senator Antonio Trillanes IV.

Speaking to the press present, the Operations Director of NAIA Octavio Lina said that the pair were weeks ago spotted in a suspicious activity at the airport but could not have enough information after investigating and searching their luggage. “Their arrest today has confirmed that they have been sending drugs from here for sometime now” – Lina said.

Edgar and Gleen, who were heading to Indonesia are now in Police custody.
