Aside from drama prince Gerald Anderson, promising Kapamilya actor Enrique Gil is also getting nods from TV viewers for his performance as ‘BJ’ in ABS-CBN’s advocacy-serye, “Budoy.”
According to Gil, he is happy and thankful to be part of the top-rating Primetime Bida teleserye. “So far, this is the most challenging show I’ve been part of. The scenes in “Budoy” are not easy, but it’s very rewarding especially when people appreciate our efforts,” he said.
Gil’s character, BJ, was well-loved by the public until the truth about Budoy unraveled. Now that he knew who the ‘real’ Benjamin Maniego is, BJ is puzzled on seeking for his own identity. He shared, “Viewers will witness the turning point in BJ’s life. From being cheerful, he is now bound to utmost misery. Prepare to witness the drastic changes in BJ and how he will face Budoy in the days to come.”
After Richard Gomez, Piolo Pascual became Canon’s endorser for their DSLR cameras.
During the recent Canon Photomarathon 2011 PJ was so delightful to become a part of Canon family. “Nung bumili ako ng first SLR camera ko pumunta ako sa Canon dahil gusto kong matuto ng photography at sana someday maging endorser ako nito” he confesses during the event.
PJ is very down to earth when it comes to photography. “Maraming salamat sa inyo, ako ang dapat na humingi ng advice sa iyo dahil amateur photographer lang at kayo ay mga pro” he shares.
Aside from acting, PJ has been blessed with an artistic eye. Being new to photography, he already did a lot of masterpiece such as landscapes and protraits. He probably has the best portraitures of KC Concepcion and travel photos.
During the event he also had the chance to meet Canon President/CEO Alan Ching who was very delighted to hear about him. He is very happy because it has became the biggest photography event holding the most number of participants.
“I am very delighted…I am very astonished and surprised seeing the reactions of all participants, hope to make it even more next year…hopefully 3,000 plus.” Alan Ching ends.
A set of twins saw Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera in a restaurant in Las Vegas so they asked if they could take a picture with them after they ate and the couple happily obliged. Marian looks so stylish wearing a knit cardigan over black top, grey skinny jeans, knee-high boots and a black Hermes tote. Dingdong looks handsome in his black leather jacket.

Enchong Dee revealed in an interview that he would live to venture into doing sexier and mature roles. He cited the the success of No Other Woman as a very good template for doing such roles. He said the box-office potential of a project like that would be something he’d like to experience too.

Dingdong Dantes is the new face of the campaign against human trafficking. As human trafficking is getting worst in the country, a need for awareness campaign is needed to educate what it’s all about.
Last year, Dantes was appointed as the Youth Ambassador for the Arts by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts where one of his (Dingdong) advocacies was youth empowerment. He was personally chosen by the NCCA because of his positive and wholesome image.
This year, he’s up for another task. In a GMA news report, Justice Secretary Leila de Lima told reporters that Dingdong Dantes was chosen as the new ambassador of the government’s anti-trafficking campaign.
In line with this, Dingdong will host a documentary program in support of MTV Exit Campaign, which is a campaign against human trafficking. The said documentary program is entitled ‘Enslaved’ which will be aired in GMA News TV this coming November 27 at 9:55 in the evening.
In an interview with Dingdong by a GMA reporter, he said, “…etong human trafficking…if you really look into it closely…it involves…majority kabataan, e,… and…ang objective for this…to be eliminated or for it to be stopped, is for you to know what human trafficking is all about.”

In the episode titled “Cocoy Shokoy,” Paulo will breathe to life the character of ‘Cocoy,’ a young man who is always used to winning. Cocoy is always on top of everything and everyone especially when it comes to love and his favorite sport, swimming. So when a new guy arrives on campus threatening his reign and winning streak, Cocoy goes all-out against him even if it means abusing the ‘magic kwintas’ (magical necklace) granted to him by a merman. His plan backfires as his own magical necklace curses him and turns him into a merman himself.
