JM De Guzman and Charee Pineda undeniably exude a natural chemistry on screen in the hit primetime series ”Mula sa Puso.”
Charee’s character Kate recently entered the top-caliber soap as the newest girl in Gabriel’s life and since then, their loveteam has been creating quite a buzz among fans in the online world. In fact, JM and Charee now have a fanbase called Juamees (combined Juan Miguel and Charee).
When asked if they can translate their on-screen romance off-screen, Charee said “as of now, JM and I are just good friends. I consider him my kabarkada. But let’s see if our friendship will develop into something more.” The young actress also said that the reason why their loveteam clicked is because this is not the first time they were teamed up on TV. Just like the Academy Award-winning superstar, Gomez is also involved in charity works. The 18-year-old actress/singer currently works for UNICEF and Disney’s Friends for Change.
“I definitely think she’s amazing when it comes to all of her work… That would be awesome,” Selena said during a charity auction benefitting the Alabama tornado recovery.
Selena added that she would love to work for the United Nation’s fund in the future just like Jolie.
Amanda Coling guested on TV5′s “Paparazzi” and GMA-7′s “Showbiz Central” on Sunday to tackle the alleged sex violence committed to her by four members of the Azkals just to say “no comment.”
The model who turned “woman of the hour” because of being connected to the alleged high profile rape case by the four member of the Philippine National Football Team namely Jason Sabio, Neil Etheridge, Anton del Rosario and Simon Greatwich neither confirmed nor denied the rumors.
Coling was asked by Cristy Fermin in TV5′s Paparazzi if she was indeed violated by the four members of the Azkals and she replied in two words: “No comment.”
In Showbiz Central, on the other hand, Pia Guanio asked Coling how her name was dragged as the alleged rape victim in the issue.
“Na-consult ko na sa lawyer ‘yung matter na ito. Sabi niya, ‘pag ‘yun ‘yong tanong, ‘wag daw….kasi it’s so sensitive. Ayokong magsinungaling. Ayokong makasakit,” Coling said.
Another gray area during the interview is that Coling called for “justice para sa karapat-dapat,” but she also asked people to move on, have peace and walk away from the issue.
Edgar Allan Guzman, the young and energetic performer who is best remembered as the last Mr. Pogi Grand winner, is celebrating his 5th Anniversary in show business in a special way.
After his special anniversary production numbers in “Hey, It’s Saberdey,” Edgar is part of the new teleserye on TV5 that is premiering on tonight, entitled “The Sisters.” He is also the featured artist in Star Confessions on Wednesday with his life story top-billed by his first showbiz employer Joross Gamboa – for whom he served as a back up dancer 5 years ago.
In the movies, Edgar has starred in various drama projects where he has proven his mettle as a promising young actor and has acted in movies opposite Robin Padilla, Dennis Trillo, Sid Lucero and other formidable actors and even got the critics’ nod for his acclaimed performance in the movie “Astig,” which brought him from the Cinemalaya stage all the way to the Pusan International Film Festival in Korea and the Osaka Asian Film Festival in Japan. He was also nominated as Best Supporting Actor in the academe-critics group’s PASADO Awards in 2009.
Last year, Edgar faced a new challenge — he starred in a difficult two-character film “Magdamag” opposite the multi-awarded Rita Avila which was recently part of the Network for the Promotion of Asian Cinema section of the Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival 2010. This year, as he celebrates his 5th Anniversary in show business, he is starring in two important Cinemalaya Films: “Bisperas” by Jeffrey Jeturian (Director’s Showcase) and “Ligo Na U, Lapit Na Me” by Erick Salud (New Breed Category) — which makes him truly the new indie prince.
Edgar has just released his 5th Anniversary collection of songs inspired by his Cinemalaya entries entitled “EDGAR ALLAN GUZMAN: BREAKTHROUGH” – now available in Astrovision and Odyssey branches nationwide.
One thing with Edgar, he is always at his best in everything he does — whether in singing, dancing or acting. This Kapatid talent has really come a long way — and he is about to chart new heights in his career in the years to come.

Ocampo said yes and admitted that he is indeed envious of Hermosa’s love life but in a positive way.
“…We aspire to get into that relationship na you can tell yourself na darating din ‘yong time at bubuo din ako ng sarili kong pamilya. Sa lahat ng nangyayari sa buhay ko ay hinuhulma ako. Hindi ako naiingit na in a bad way. I would say na hindi pa time, panahon ‘yan,” the Guns and Roses star said.
“For me at this point ay marami pa akong responsibilidad na kailangan kong pangalagaan kaya masaya din naman,” he added.
Ocampo pointed out that he is happy for Hermosa and he will never stop caring for people who became part of his life.
“Sisid” star Bela Padilla is considered one of the sexiest women in the country. In fact, she entered FHM’s 100 Sexiest Women in the World for 2011 list at no. 77.
Perhaps her role in “Sisid” got the people’s attention signalling her being one of the emerging sexy stars on television and possibly in the movies. But is she ready to pose on the cover of a men’s magazine?
In an interview by iGMA.tv, Bela revealed that there were offers but she declined.
“Actually, maraming beses na silang nagtanong sa akin, pero not yet. Marami pa po akong gustong i-try,” sagot ni Bela.
And the reason? She aspires to become a beauty queen!
“Oo. Dream ko kasi talagang maging beauty queen. So marami akong gustong marating muna. I think FHM can wait. Hindi pa rin naman ako ganun ka-sexy sa tingin ko. Darating ako dun,” she shared.
Bela is eyeing the Miss Philippines World crown next year.

“It was an easy decision to choose Robin as our new brand advocate. Just like Cherry Mobile, Robin has a natural charisma that easily draws the public. He represents the average Cherry Mobile user who lives an active yet practical lifestyle. Robin is the ideal guy to bring us to the next level,” said Maynard Ngu, Chief Executive Officer of Cosmic Technologies, Incorporated.

I admire Cherry Mobile for bringing affordable handsets with dual SIM capabilities and other unique features available to all. With Cherry Mobile, anyone can stay connected.” Robin shared.
Along with the announcement of Robin Padilla as the newest Cherry Mobile endorser, Cosmic Technologies, Inc. also introduces two latest additions to its growing portfolio: Cherry Mobile R7 Vigor and R9 Tough. Both are equipped with an easy-grip, protective rubber casing that can withstand shocks against drop impacts from as high as 1.5 meters and sudden bumps, jolt and blow.
These new niche of stylishly rugged phones also bring together the best features a multimedia phone can have — Dual SIM/ Dual Standby, loudspeaker, camera, FM Radio, Flashlight, MMS/WAP/GPRS, Bluetooth, JAVA/built-in games and an expandable storage up to 4GB. The R7 Vigor is a bar type mobile phone while the R9 Tough features a QWERTY keypad.
“Robin is our shockproof mobile phones personified. He is tough and rough to survive all the blows that he has encountered in his life and career,” said Agnes Conopio, Marketing Head.
Robin joins the ranks of other Cherry Mobile endorsers, John Lloyd Cruz and Kim Chiu. With this dream team of brand ambassadors, Cherry Mobile is set to continue to captivate the local mobile communications industry and deliver products that fit everyone’s lifestyle.
