
Populat Hongkong actor and director Jackie Chan ‘Chan Kong-sang’ tweets his personal feelings about the recent hostage drama in Manila, Philippines. Chan extended his friendship over his verified Twitter account @EyeOfJackieChan.
His tweets, “this kind of things always happen around the world. It happen to hk’s people, the whole hk is talking about it. Its really sad,” the movie star said at around 11:40am (Philippine Time) on August 25, 2010.
“If they killed the guy sooner, they will say why not negotiate first? If they negotiate first, they ask why not kill the guy sooner? So sad,” he added.
Amidst the controversies, Jackie Chan showed his sincere and honest feelings to Filipinos. He is a person with a kind heart.
“HK is a nation built by a lot of different people..don’t worry! We do not hate!” he Tweeted.
“I remember the day before in korea we talked about how people should love each other. We already have so many natural disasters..typhoon, tsunami, everything. Humans should be united and not kill or hate each other,” he exhorted.
